vue - Agriculture CS says Kenya is reasonably food secure

Agriculture CS, Willy Bett said that the country is food secure and that the government is working towards ensuring food self-reliance. The government said it will invest 3.6 billion in infrastructure to patrol waters to curb illegal fishing says the CS. Agriculture CS Willy Bett said this at the Agriculture Summit held at State House where the government and various agriculture stakeholders discussed food shortage, eliminating middlemen in the sector and ensuring good returns to the farmers for their produce among other things.
