Hello, we are trying to grow mint indoors, and your video helped us a lot.
We have a question about the weather conditions needed for growing mint. It is the beginning of the winter and the temperatures are getting lower. Should we keep our mint plant inside, in a warm place? Or just leave it alone?
Thanks, -
A very good and comprehensive video. Thanks.

+California Gardening great video! My Grandma had the golden thumb and passed it on to most of grandkids. That was in California, but I have since moved to Mid-Michigan and live in an apartment. If I can find mint somewhere here or online, do you thing I should be able to grow it here? Near a mild sunny window with indoor temperature of 70-72? Thank you for your help.

I'm growing Mojito Mint, which I found at Sprouts and is one that wasn't mentioned. Hoping to have better success this time, after watching the videos. I'll get some Pearlite, as you suggested. I only used the Miracle Grow Potting Soil, before and they were planted in my clay pots with the built-on saucers. I think you're recommending plastic pots, is that correct?

I also grow mint, I prefer to grow Spearmint too because it's so easy to grow and propagate. I put them in my balcony, under a 4-6 hours of sun ray, and they grow a very fresh and large leaves. I also treat them with organic liquid fertilizer once in 2 weeks.
I grow them in containers, the big homework is I have to replace them periodically when they are growing crazy like a weed. And watch for the vines too. But it's such fun! -
I like it

Can you grow healthy mint indoors?
-
We bought a mint plant in a supermarket and it seemed to prosper at first but then aphis invaded it. They must have been on the plant in small number before as well because we grow it inside and there is no way they could have got on it otherwise :(
