The biggest players in the food industry—from pesticide pushers to fertilizer makers to food processors and manufacturers—spend billions of dollars every year not selling food, but selling the idea that we need their products to feed the world. But, do we really need industrial agriculture to feed the world? Can sustainably grown food deliver the quantity and quality we need—today and in the future? This is what I have believed for years. I'm glad to see someone that has access to data has done the research. Now, I want to see 'sustainably farmed' logos on things.

Buy Sustainable... different regions have different advantages in terms of what they can grow without drastically altering the growing environment.Often things that are grown far away are grown with smaller footprints than those caused by local greenhouses... the trick is finding ecologically and economically efficient ways for transporting those goods.

Great video! The system of corporate farming seems eerily similar to feudalism!

the property taxes in america are so high, that its forcing farmers to sell to the corporation. compare this to bavaria where there are no property taxes and farms have been in families for years. And in america when farmers pass on, the children have to sell the farm because they can't afford the inheritance taxes. no wonder americans are so sick and fat compared to the rest of the world. CORPORATE FARMING
