You can make your roof similar to the other ones, but instead of having a flat landing pad on top you can have a opening with the tanks just below, in a sort of attic just above your crop floor. So the tanks will be mostly hidden but can be seen from above.

It is for the best to have your plants outdoors without a roof over their head. That way when it rains, which is all the time, your plants will be watered without the need for pipes.

Zisteau, I recommend looking into the game Starmade. while at first glance it looks like minecraft in space, the crafting mechanics are fundamentally different, and the game is suprisingly optimized enough for stupid big ships. I was on a server with 50 people, and someone made (from a blueprint) a covenant ship from halo, and I got lost inside of it while exploring. This ship did not lag the server.
And with all the different "drive" blocks, its mechanically complicated enough, that the best way to pilot the super large ships would be to have a small team with different roles and star trek it. And with the newest update that uses realistic inertia and balances the thrusters, its great. go look at it. -

You could build the roof similar to those you already have and instead of the landing pad on top have the reservoirs recessed into an attic so they are only visible from above.
