Wonderful diversity in your garden, well more than a garden, more an exhibition of what can be achieved combining all the different methods. Interesting what type of soap you use as here in France they us Black soap from the olives, does it not harm the fish? Yes you are right now that I am slowly catching up on your video's it would seem that you have so much more ground, but it surprising how much one can get in a smaller space. I am lucky in that I have much more land but it is of poor quality at the moment, but our flock of four sheep are slowly fertilizing it.
Q. How much do pay for IBC containers and the clay pebbles, because this is becoming a big problem as France just don't have the bug yet and things are hard to acquire. You have a great one too Rob -
Dear Sr. all you need for a natural bug repellent is just the CAPSAICIN and vegetable oil.
you can use jalapenos peppers or any pepper from 5.000 to 70.000 scovilles units here is a link for hot peppers. https://www.cayennediane.com/big-list-of-hot-peppers/
do not go be on 85. 000 scovilles units, you will damage your crops.
for the greens limit to 30.000 scovilles uniits,
do to it will change the flavor of your greens. how resapi for repellent is for 5 Gallons is 1/3 cup fruit vinegar, 1 cup of hot peppers, 1 cup of garlic, 1 1/4 cups chives.
now for the oil you can use sea weed oil, fish oil, 1 1/4 cups up to 1 3/4 cups. vegetable oil any oil will do 1 1/2 cups use witch ever is your prefer, but just use one of this oils.
as for the hot peppers if it is not hot enough you can add black pepper or any other dry pepper to make it hot no more then 1 tbsp. this will work no only on bugs but deer, rabbits and birds.
preparation blend all of it and store 68 to 75 degrees F for 3 days, it will get stronger. this will go into 1 1/2 gallons of water, after 3 days add the rest of the water to 5 gallons.
them separate solids and keep solid for what you do not use and place solid back in mixture.
store it be low temp 42 to 55 degrees F it will keep for 3 yo 6 months. i have use this from 1979 to the present day,
never use white vinegar, and it can be diluted up to 7 gallons.
think of this pepper spray for pest.
now using just natural oils. neem oil 4 tbsp, 1 tbsp rosemary oil, 1 tbsp lavender oil, 4 1/2 tbsp lemon grass oil to 1 gallon of water. this works great in the garden and as a mosquito repellent.
the other way is to plant this plants in the garden along the crops it will do the same job.
you can also you can mix this with the pepper spray,
but after hot pepper has fermented. just mix well before using and during application.
and it dose not damage the soil like soap. hope this helps, good luck. -
I am so inspired and impressed. Might do something in my backyard

Yeah just gold fish. I don't think I would ever get to edible fish. I wouldn't be able to eat them. haha animals are my friends. plus my daughter would prob name them all. once they have a name.... ;) I'm already addicted to growing so it wouldn't surprise me. I need a bigger property!

thank you so much for all your information. I have literally gotten a green thumb because of how informative your natural systems work. I live in Perth and have a very small front patio and back patio. you would think I wouldn't be able to grow much but have literally gone nuts with veges and have way too much now. Haha. your vids helped guide me thru. looking at doing aquaponics now. just a Lil system. ;) thanks again and look forward to all the updates.
