Congrats! Great campaign with rich informations.

What software is used to make this?
Thank you. -
trop bien!

in fact we have to be careful...
-
Brazil better be careful. This same seductive type of presentation was given to India years ago. Now India has a huge problem, with massive farmer bankruptcies, destroyed land, and even farmer suicides, because they get trapped with no way out. The organic movement with new modern scientific sustainable techniques like SRI, HMPG, and permaculture is a far better option.

This video is the true definition of deception, it is deducing the attention of the viewer from the chemical company who is earning billions of dollars over the back of farmers everty year. Basf enslaves farmers on their chemicals, making them dependant on their products in order to pay the bills. We don't need chemical companies to feed the people. The Brazilians, are making a huge difference in Miami, investing in homes and businesses. We are attending Brasilians buyers in Miami, Orlando and New York areas.

O Brasil pode alimentar muita gente mesmo mantendo 20% de área de reserva em cada propriedade, o que é muito comparado a outros países.

What isn't mentioned here is that Brazilian fossil fuel use went up 3.2 times since the 1960's and water use has gone up too. Fossil fuel based fertilisers are one of the primary reasons for increased productivity, as fossil fuels become more expensive watch the food prices rise. Also, in terms of productivity we have already picked the low hanging fruit. It is getting harder to keep increasing yields. Brazilians use 2.4 biproductive hecatres per person but only 1.8 are available worldwide.

Again, your country's population density is relatively low. Land area is very big. It's not insane.
-
Seriously, you have to get your facts straight... Brazil has 210 times the surface area of Holland, but only 12 times the population of Holland. This means Brazil has a population density 20 times less than Holland. So enough potential for wind and solar.

The best way to stop deforestation the quickest, is, at least what I think, to change consumption patterns of consumers(alternatives for tropical hardwood and less meat), better legislation in tropical forest countries against deforesters, and the developed countries/companies paying countries for leaving their rainforest standing, instead of logging for tropical hardwoods and clearing for farmland.

Brazil has enormous potential for expansion of wind energy. Here in europe we try to expand wind energy in the North Sea. It is just that hydro electricity is much cheaper than wind and solar energy. It is all about the money. In some people's eyes, money is all that matters...

The attempt to stop deforestation remainds me of the attempt to stop drug dealing. That is, it's no use to fight the problem of drugs trying to eliminate the drug dealers; they have to eliminate the drug users. It's no use to try to stop the deforestation problem by trying to eliminate plantation; it is necessary to stop the demand for food. Birth control, worldwide, now.

@Imota71 Yes, and I applaud Brazil for that, good job :) hope they get zero deforestation for Amazonia so that I can visit it someday :) and I hope that Dilma Roussef wil veto against the change in the forest code proposed by some ruralists.
-
@Imota71 Well, I don't eat that much beef :) you can have your Brazilian picanha for yourself :)
-
And ow yeah, that video you send, looks like its made by farmer lobyists, ofcourse they want to put the Brazilian Livestock industry in a positive daylight..
-
but well, discussing this goes nowhere, our views are too different..
-
Well Brazil is all focussed on quantity, on getting bigger and bigger no matter what. If there is some forest or people in the way they have to get away, well the soy and beef giants are very powerfull. Look at Blairo Maggi, governor of Mato grosso, and at the same time biggest soy producer. Luckily there is a deforestation moratorium for soy,but beef is still a big deforester. Sorry to say,but I myself would never eat Brazilian beef after what I have seen..

You aren't responding to me anymore, it seems you were lying about that
