vue - Cashew Nuts Preparation Crooked Tree Village Style
The Cashew Apple is very unique in the botanical world, having the nut hanging outside the fruit and is easily twisted off. Together it is one of the most fascinating sights in nature. The cashew apple comes in red or yellow, is very fleshy, soft and juicy, and looks like a bell pepper. The nuts can be prepared manually or by mechanical methods, unfortunately only the manual method is done in Crooked Tree Village.

@RenGrayson It's seasonal and it just went by. Crooked Tree cashew nuts are mostly sold by word of mouth or by special order.

@RenGrayson You cant buy the fruit because they are far too fragile to transport. As for the nut, you can buy those at nearly any store, market, or Seven Eleven.

@landline00 In Belize there is no mechanize process for processing cashew nuts. People in the cashew producing district does have have the means to produce by machines.

Thanks landline, it really is, in Crooked Tree Village. In Vietnam and Sri Lanka, Brazil and other countries it's all done by machines.
