vue - CAT Challenger Cultivating
This video shows our CAT Challenger 765C cultivating land to be planted with spring barley. The cultivator we are using is the Vaderstad NZ Aggressive 8.0m cultivator. Soon after this process, we will be going in to plant this land with spring barley, using another CAT Challenger. The video for that will be following shortly. Warter Priory is a world class farming operation set in the heart of East Yorkshire amidst 12,000 acres. At Warter, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and efficient farming. The main crops we focus on growing are wheat, barley and oilseed rape. We also grow peas in partnership with Birds Eye and some of our land is used for growing potatoes. The music used in this video is To The Sun by Lost Harmonies

Nice quality.

Whats the point of all the tillage? Does anyone no-till in Europe, or is that strictly a North American technique? I've never understood why some farmers till the heck outa their ground!
Anyway, the video was great as always! -

Great video! Are you happy with NZA 800? I am looking for a 9 meter cultivator for next season to use after Vaderstad Cultus 420 to level the land. My search has narrowed down to NZA 900 and Kockerling Allrounder 900. It is hard to choose :).

Those close-ups were better then being there. It amazes me how crisp and clear internet video has become. The music fit well with the video too, you make some of the most professional videos on YouTube. Thanks for sharing with us.

Have you thought about putting a go pro on the tractor. Would be cool to see the drone filming in action.

Do you think there will ever be a place for a controlled traffic system on the estate?
We went full CTF last year (though we do farm only a third of your acreage) and it's looking promising, will be interesting to see what the combine makes the yield...
