Have you thought about taking a gas stove along to the farmer market to help sell them? Just cook some pieces up throughout the day for people to try with cocktail skewers, then they can taste for themselves what a great mushroom they are!

Sorry for the random question, but I was cold pasteurizing my straw Friday night using 2 cups of lime and 1/2 a cup of gypsum with 1/2 a cup of soap. It was left in there accidentally until this Sunday morning then hung to dry. Would you say the substrate is still good to use?

Quick question. I am not a mushroom guy but like the topic and love to eat mushroom. How do you dispose of the substrate after the mushroom production? Do you compost it? Thanks.

have you done more with the 5 gallon buckets? I am curious to know your opinion. I've done a few and I want to scale up but I don't know exactly what method I want to adopt. I have used tubs and buckets but not bags of any kind. It is my understanding the bags are typically the commercial option....anyways....LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! You're doing a great service providing such good content.
