We will discuss the problems and its solution ***************** 1) Natural calamities --- Flood, Drought, Burning of crops due to fire --- Making proper drainage, proper irrigation during drought, alternative to fight fire 2) Diseases caused by virus, fungi or attack of insects ---- Spoilage of leaves, stem or fruits ----- Use spray of insecticides, fungicides, bactericides 3) Animals ----- Damaged crops ----- Using a protective fence, providing protection ******************* Harvesting:- After ripening of the crop a farmer gathers the crops from the field is called harvesting. Threshing:- Threshing is the process of removing chaff (भूसा) from the edible (खाने योग्य) part of crop. ********************* After harvesting, the farmer brings the grains filled in jute bags to home. The fodder is also gathered for livestock. The grains are then stored. The stored grains are kept protected from moisture, insects, rats and microbes by various means.
