vue - Conservation Agriculture in Zimbabwe
Conservation farming techniques enable anyone with the strength to walk and lift a hoe to prepare and care for fields. As a result, CRS targets the most vulnerable households for training and support, including farms headed by widows, the elderly or people living with HIV. The simple techniques also allow families to prepare fields piecemeal on their own.

I hope one day solar power water pumps are subsidized by african governments. There is a concept born to be used in africa-AQUAPONICS.. The benefits are HUGE.. Year round vegetables, less water usage, compact planting, fish production and above all probably fewer mosquitos. With proper research a brilliant system could be designed and produced en mass cheaply. Email me jay.moxon@hotmail.co.uk if you have any questions. Thank you

Organic, no-till gardening/farming, in permanent beds, using only a machete, doubles or triples, reduces labor 50% to 75%, reduces inputs/expenses to nearly 0 [buy only seed], increases fertility, stops soil erosion [no rain water runoff], eliminates most weed, disease and insect problems and greatly increases profits if marketing. Use DIY drip or DIY bucket drip irrigation [made by farmer] to produce during the dry season. free dvd. minifarms@gmail.com
