vue - Creating 3D Model with Phantom 4, Photogrammetry Mapping. Agisoft PhotoScan
I look at Photogrammerty with the DJI Phantom 4 and Agisoft Photoscan software. Good video!

is it necessary to make control points over ground with GPS in order to develop 3d or 2d plan with topo drone?
-
hey.....how to do fly around like you do ?
-
What was the resolucion in cm/px ? , I can´t find information about the phantom 4 GSD.

Quick question. If I make a map for someone. Is there anyway they can view that file on a free software on there end? to view distances between points. thanks!

Cool Video! is it possible to extract 'Z' (levels to Ordinance Datum) values out of a model flown by a phantom 4?
-
I would be forever grateful if you would post short video you used on your process. Cheers :)

How did you lock your drone to stay a set distance from the church to fly a perfect circle. Also how do you judge how far the drone flies before taking another picture. Photogrametry should have at least a 70 percent overlap. Did you just make a educated guess. I have a phantom 4 and want to use it to build models of large building and scultures myself combining the images taken from my ground camera and my drone.

Excellent video, thanks for posting it. Your results are much better than I have been able to get so far out of Photoscan (using the top-down mapping technique you mention). I'm going to try PoI next.
Just wondering, did you have to do much cleanup with your point clouds? Either using gradual selection or by deleting points by hand? And roughly how many photos were used to create this model? -
This is great, thanks.
I have a Typhoon G, would you know how I would look into doing Photogrammerty with this setup? -
what size pixels in agisoft for cam PH4?? thanks

I really liked your video, very well presented and a fantastic chose of location. I would be really interesting in running your images through something like Drone2Map. I specialise in GIS and would love to see if I could put this on top of OS data and maybe mix with DEM AND DTM. I do have a phantom 2 and taken some images, but I am more skilled in IT than piloting.

Did you use the Standard or PRO Version of the Software ??
Great Video and great work.
Thats exactly what i want to do here in Germany when i get my P4 -
Awesome stuff. Did you edit the mesh before you exported to Sketchfab? The polygon count is surprisingly low :)

Having a bit of a problem connection my Phantom 3 Pro to the Galaxy Tab "A", Loaded the DJI Go app , however I seem to have no communication with the drone. I'm able to open the app, but the main screen merely shows the Inspire 1 and we seem to be stuck there.
I was able to communicate with the drone by loading the DJI Go app to my "Galsxy S5 Active" phone with no problem, was able to enter camera mode, and CSC command fired the engines up and was able to perform a compass calibration. It seems as though everthing is working fine. However..... nothing happening with the Galaxy Tablet. Any thoughts ?
I'v been working with Pix4D for a while and it is awsome, however you need good images, and good image overlap which is why the P3 Pro was my choice, but definitely need to get the Tablet issue resolved. -
This is fantastic!

Sorry I didn´t get this. Did you use Ground control points (GCPs) data for this model?
-
thats so awesome, thanks for your links.
