It is a profitable Agri-entrepreneurship. It requires temperature upto 20 to 30 Degree C. Darkness is required during vegetative phase. Different stages of mushroom cultivation: (1) The paddy straw cut into 2-3 inch sizes, soaked it in normal water for 12 hours. Then it is treated with boiled water and excess moisture is drained out. (2) One end of cylindrical polythene bag in order to give it a shape of a gunny bag. (3) Chopped straw is spread on the polythene followed by spawn and half boiled wheat grains. (4) Then it is covered by the second layer of straw and the same process is repeated for 4 times. (5) Lastly, straw is covered and mouth of the polythene bag is is sealed tightly.
