2. Don't you sterilizing the paddy straw?? like steam?? And why do you use floor?
3. what is the purpose of applying the "gram Flour" ? How long does it take for the mushroom to bloom after removing the plastic sheet?
   This method does not need any chemicals to pasteurize the substrate ( straw)?
   I hope to replicate this method in the Philippines so i hope you could help. Thank you.
4. How did he grow his spawn or did he have to purchase it? I noticed that it was in the shape of a bottle so i assume he grew it himself.

6. The spawn of paddy straw mushroom is generally available in the state agriculture universities if it has a mushroom production unit. Now a days, there are private companies and also individual entrepreneurs who runs spawn production units and information regarding which can be obtained from the respective state agriculture universities. If you have a Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) near to your locality, then you may get spawn there also or get information about its places of availability.

Here's detail in Hindi सामग्री: (छतु के बीज (स्पन),१० कि.ग्रा. पोआल, पोलिथिन,बैसन,खसिआ,२ लम्बै डण्डे) पोआल को १.५ फ़ीट लम्बै के हिसाब से काट लिजिए । अभि पोआल को पानि मे ६ घन्टे के लिए डुबा के रखिए ओर उसके बाद डण्डे के उपर ४” मोटाइ करके बिछाइए। छतु के बीज को तोड के पोआल के उपर ६” कि दुरि से चारो कोने मे रखिए । उसके उपर बैसन को छिडकाइए। फिर एक बार बिपरीत दिशा मे पोआल को बिछाइए, उसके उपर छतु के बीज ओर बैसन को रखिए, इसि तरह 4 बार किजिए । अभि उसे पोलिथिन से ७ दिन तक ढक के रखिए।

The straw bundles spread to 4” thickness on 2 poles after dipping for 6 hrs. The spawn is broken & placed above the straw on poles with spacing of 6’’. The flour is sprinkled over the spawn. layer of straw is spread in opposite direction with spawn & flour. Repeat 4 times. Flour is sprinkled over surface by a layer of straw. Bed is covered with the polythene for 7 days.
