vue - DJI Inspire 1 - RAW Footage - Very Windy
This is our first video test with the all new DJI Inspire 1. The footage in this clip has been taken straight off the camera - we haven’t done any stabilisation or colour correcting. The wind was blowing between 25 and 35 mph - very windy conditions for a quad to fly in! We can’t believe how stable the footage is. The light was very flat yet the camera managed to pick up plenty of detail. We have flown the Phantom 2 with GoPro and the S1000 with Canon 5D MKII. For us, the DJI Inspire blows both of them out the water for a number of reasons. Ease of use - the Inspire is as easy to set up and fly as the Phantom - very little setup required. Portability - everything fits in it’s travel case so nicely - we can take the Inspire everywhere so if an opportunity arises we can be filming within minutes - no more planning needed! Quality - the video quality on the Inspire camera is unreal. The whole frame is in focus and is so sharp. Price - we can’t argue that the price of the Inspire is very competitive. You are getting a professional quad for a very fair price. Overall we love the Inspire. It will definitely be our number one rig when filming future videos on the farm. Apologies for the slightly jerky flying at times - with this being a new quad, I’m still getting used to it’s sensitivity. Also it was VERY windy so that didn’t help! Nice video, thumbs up from us and cheers from sunny IGY Simpson Bay Marina, Sint Maarten in the Caribbean.

What evidence would be obvious to the viewer that it was windy, e.g., no dust or exhaust stream, no trees bending.... Is there something about the drone that's noticeable...?
-
the drone should be driving the tractor

Thanks, I appreciate seeing the raw footage. Very nice! Looks like you'll have some great future videos. I'm a little surprised that the quality is even better than the S1000 with the Canon, but that's good news since it should make flying and filming even easier for you.

Awesome! we will be getting one shortly! we flew out S1000 with the 5D mk 3 today in 20mps wind (45mph) and that was definitely too much for it to handle, the engines had to work to hard and flight time was cut extremely short.

belle vidéo !

Drones have added a whole new dimension to producing videos. They show equipment at its best. In motion.
-
Another great video with some great machines, thanks.

Yes Todd, the headlands are also used. We plough those after the centre of the field is done.
-
Do you Use that plough doing HeadLands aswell or do ye use a smaller one?
-
Are the areas, where the machinery turn, used for production as well?
-
Love it, nice outfit, expert job, keep the videos coming,
-
Have you still got the s1000? I would love an Inspire 1!

Well done. If you had not mentioned this being the first, it'd be impossible to know.
Kind regards,

Amazing video given the difficult conditions. I was too nervous to go out and fly in 15mph (gusting to 29mph) winds this afternoon! This gives me a bit more confidence to be a bit braver!!!
