Nice Video.I saw lot of Dragon fruit farm videos in Youtube.I feel so many empty unused spaces in dragon fruit garden. Is it possible to use those empty spaces by companion planting??
-
Thanks for that info, I am sure many will benefit from this answer. Cheers Marty

I hear that it can take about 3 years from a cutting depending on the growing conditions of the plant and varieties. Maybe someone will develop a grafting method in the future to speed this up!

If you haven't got an answer yet, from cuttings it will take anywhere from 1-3 years. And if grown from seeds will even be longer like 3-5 years. But the fastest way to get a dragon fruit to produce is to try and obtain a longer cutting 2'-3' from an already fruit producing vine.

Hi David If you had a very sheltered area in Coffs with quality soils it would grow okay. The plantation is just east of Murwillumbah and is the biggest in Australia I believe.

Hey Marty... How far south do you think it would grow outide? Coffs, Port Macquarie, Forster...? Or do you think it would be too cold at night in winter there? Thanks for showing this. Where is that plantation... Is it near The Channon? I know Byron quite well.
