Hi there are few questions I want to ask (1) how deep should the stem to be grow into the soil (2) The plant is better to plant into the pot or in the ground (3) Is PH is very important (4) What type of soil is good for dragon fruit and what type of fertilizer is more suitable (5 ) How often we do watering the plant . As I know treated pine or other timber is not suitable for growing dragon fruits ( other timber meant treated with chemical ) This information was provided by Bunning ( I lived in Melbourne ) Thank you for answering my questions

This is AMAZING!!! I don't know if they'll grow here in Texas, but I'm going to try, It's very hot, but not as humid as your climate. I did not recognize the plant when I saw it today at a store (on sale) as it just looked like a cactus, but I"m on my way back to get one or two. I sure hope I can keep them alive to bear fruit. Your videos are inspiration!

Are dragon fruit required to grow in a /\ shape? I'm thinking of training mine up my gazebo: up one post and then towards the peak of the roof. This would make the dragon fruit end up in an "r" shape. Would the "r" shape interfere with fruiting?
