I'm not talking about your friendly pet rats or common sewer rats either, supposedly these are field rats. I'm not sure if that makes a differences when actually eating rat but really, what do rats eat? I'd assume field ones eat grains and stuff so is it really that different? Obviously rats have a bit of a bad rep as being disgusting and it tasted pretty gross, I will admit. End of the day, this was a one time thing and I can't see myself ever ordering it again. We did get sidetracked from some hippie so we didn't really see them preparing it and I'm not sure mine was cooked properly, whoops. That said, if you add some seasoning and sauce as opposed to straight up BBQ, could see it being decent.
