Saint Lucia’s farmers were severely impacted by the gusty winds and heavy rains of tropical storm Matthew. The national emergency management organisation (NEMO) is reporting widespread damage to the agriculture sector - about 85% of farms experienced damage. One farmer from the south lost his entire plantation. As he tries to count his losses, he says the road ahead looks grim.
