Despite an astronomical cost of $60,000, both the Aeryon Scout & SkyRanger are all but outdated technology. Scout/SkyRange with an iffy 25 minute flight time is about the same performance as my Phantom at $1,200 to $1,300 also with a 25 minute flight time. If you want long flight time and extra payload and yes... don't forget wind gusts in open fields, the Matrix quadcopter at $1,800 - $3,800 is the current leader with up to 50 minutes flight and it's now commonly used in long distance/duration agriculture and inspections.
