vue - Former USDA Foreign Services Officer promotes global agriculture at New Mexico State University

Rod McSherry received a master’s degree in international agriculture from New Mexico State University in 1986 and has returned to the NMSU College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences as the Gerald Thomas Chair for Global Agricultural Initiatives. McSherry had a 28-year career as a Foreign Service Officer, with assignments in Moscow, Mexico City, Caracas, Bangkok, Baghdad, London and Afghanistan.
