"It's Inside Job with bells on, and a frequently compelling thesis thanks to Ashcroft's crack team of talking heads -- economists, whistleblowers and Noam Chomsky, all talking with candour and clarity." - Total Film "Four Horsemen is a breathtakingly composed jeremiad against the folly of Neo-classical economics and the threats it represents to all we should hold dear." - Harold Crooks, The Corporation (Co-Director) Surviving Progress (Co-Director/Co-Writer) Follow us on https://www.twitter.com/Renegade_Inc on https://www.facebook.com/RenEconomist or visit our website http://www.renegadeinc.com Support us by subscribing here http://bit.ly/1db4xVQ

Terrific job! Thank you for creating such a compelling overview of our global predicament.

I really do think an intelligent Christian revival is the best way out of this mess. Atheistic communism/socialism in all it's forms has already been tried. America isn't a small country like Sweden, it's the leading force in the world right now. Overcoming the globalistic urge as is happening right now in politics can save America by bringing it back into its roots and out of the latter European/Soviet and Asian melting pot that influenced the world away from Christian principles. These principles will only be able to followed in a smaller national scale.

How effective has the war on terror been eradicating terrorists? About as effective as the war on drugs eradicating drugs. However, they've both been successful in starting enormously profitable wars without end.

Documentaries like this are the most effective means of propaganda because they allow the viewer (you!) to think of themselves as people who can now "see through the charade". This documentary is EXTREMELY biased, not to mention politically correct. They don't mention for instance that Transgenderism is THE MAIN symptom of decaying societies (google "transgender roman emperor") and that is NOT an omission by accident, it is deliberate in order not to offend susceptibilities. Also, when they talk about Henry Ford and what Ford said about the "bankers", not ONCE did they mention he was talking about the Jews. But, then again, I'm just an ignorant sheep who is paid by Big Business, unlike you paladins of Truth and Justice.

i had to stop after 14 minutes. The most far reaching "what if" type of negative thinking. You all can stay in and huddle under your kitchen table because apparently you think humankind is ending. I'll be out enjoying life and making money!

It must be understood that systems come and go. Changes or eventually a downfall of some local favorite, namely capitalism, don't mean automatically the end of the world. Making oneself the center of the entire planet and of history merely shows distorted self image, nothing more, nothing less.

Some of the ideas explored are interesting. However, the makers of this documentary concede that the rich elite have already "gamed" the financial system and all they offer is the hope that american individualism, "democracy" and sound money will ultimately change the whole system. Dream on. Things will have to become catastrophic before this form of global "crony" capitalism finally collapses. Unfortunately, as part of the collateral damage this might include the extinction of humanity! The elite already controls the food, water and energy supplies and of course, the politicians - so much for representative democracy! Look at the 2016 US Presidential election both candidates were backed by the elite, but you had a choice right? Wall Street or big Oil and Gas. Remember, "drain the swamp" - so we can use the resultant land for real estate development by Trump Inc. The Arctic is currently going through a heatwave! The house is burning down and these guys want to throw more gas on the fire because they believe that they can collect on the insurance! There comes a point in any human civilization where you pass the sustainability point and everything collapses. We are now very close to that point - individual choice and democracy is not going to save us!

We are ruining the world!

Of course they fail to mention that the big greedy banks paid back the funds provided by the bailout. https://projects.propublica.org/bailout/

Don´t listen to those conspiracy theorists, buy an iPhone and watch a cat video instead.

I am 100% sure that Donald Trump saw this documentary and took notes. He uses really similar language.

The "baby-boomers" have not squandered anyone's inheritance. There is massive under-used capacity to increase wealth without taking anything away from baby-boomers. All these recessions come down to the same cause: Too many people not being paid enough to afford to buy the goods and services that they themselves make and deliver. The money snowballs into the hands of too few (who justify their position by claiming to be indispensible wealth creators) who then won't use it, because they say that there is no demand, when, in fact, there is huge demand, and what they really mean is that too many people have too little money. We are told that the legal system that we call "money" is unchangeable, like the law of gravity. It is not, but if people were to get the idea that they can put themselves to work (like we have done in wartime) and then print the money to distribute access to the wealth they have created, it would undermine the status of those who make money out of having money.
