vue - Growing Forests in the Desert
How do forests grow in the desert? How is Israel the only country in the world with more trees in it now than there were 100 years ago? Watch how KKL-JNF makes the deserts bloom in order to find out! http://www.kkl.org.il/eng/

So in reality America pays for this. Got it.

Israel steals water from Palestinian areas just as they steal the land.

good, now of Isreal makes itself hospitable for the jews, WHEN will they all immigrate back to their desert and out of Europe and America where theyre not welcome?!
-

-
planted on a stolen land , irrigated with stolen water from neighbouring countries made by technologies of other countries and money of american taxpayers ... what a bunch of fake losers...

Great work

in 2016, Israel boy asked his mom, where is the forest, momy?

Excellent. Plant more trees, create forests, organic gardens, and build less factories and cars.
People are depending on each other in order to make this world habitable and sometimes I think extreme religions and selfishness are causing more problems.
Nature first, and then people. -
aussie gum trees.. what cant they do

this is country for the Palestine pepole and the Israel pepole killed the Palestinian people and they take all the Palestinian country
this country for Muslims not for the Jewish because the Al-Aqsa Mosque for the Muslims

Stole my Christmas tree transplant idea... foster a forest in the desert.

So like one person pointed out "Eucalyptus was brought to Israel from Australia years ago as an aid to dry out swamps. Drying out the swamps significantly reduced the amount of mosquitos in Israel, and thus fought malaria."
So I really gotta wonder who/how/why the decision was made to use these water-hungry trees in the desert... : / Here in California I'm raising as many chilean mesquite and Jacaranda seeds as I can realistically support with the water caught in a basin whenever I was my hands. Just doing my part to foster shade for the future, I wish the Israeli citizens luck making sensible changes to their surroundings, and not being lead astray from their potential greatness by the war-loving right-wing elements in their government. -

isreal needs to take this globally

I hope they're using aquaponics. It uses one tenth of the water compared to growing in soil, the crops grow twice as fast, it's organic and you get fish out of it as well.

Planting nonnative trees😒
-
yes.. and most of those trees are eucalyptos.... do you know at least a bit about eucalyptos? These trees grow fast and deplete the water table in the area... you are really not helping that desert by planting those trees. Should have chosen desert acacias or date palms or other trees native to the desert. Eucalyptos are native to the rainforest! Yes, the forest is growing, but you will have only eucalyptos in the area with barren useless soil around them.. good luck!

If it happens in nature its natural.
