vue - Growing From Seeds: Ep. 46 | My Jackfruits
So here are the bad boys that I've been growing inside my room. So proud of these little guys, since they are growing fine without any special lights.

I started 2 jackfruit seeds after hearing that not all seeds will germinate. I tossed the first batch out for the squirrels and chipmunks, they love the seeds. So, 2 trees are growing now. One is about 10 inches or so tall, the second tree is also 10 inches tall, but a second tree sprouted first from both seeds. I cut one of the different type from the seed and the tree is doing fine, the second I am allowing the two types to grow together. The second has leaves shaped like the castor bean plant and is now over 2 feet tall. Some said the seeds were damaged, causing this growth. My first time with this, so I don't know.

Love your videos sexy lol and nice video

I put mine in a plastic bag then put a moist napkin and they sprouted rather fast. The seeds are also eaten...heat some oil and throw them in. They are eaten like nuts. I have not tried them because I chose to grow them instead of eating them.

I have a few seeds that are just sprouting. Do you have any tips on how to plant them? Thanks :)

Hello Gwenevere-- I live in southern Cal. and most places never heard of jackfruit. I have been looking for jackfruit seeds two years now with no success. If you are able, can you send me some jackfruit seeds from your tree? Thanks.

Both methods worked great but they both take a while. I think method 2 is probably the easiest since it is left out and all I ever had to do is change a little water and every day I could just look to see for any changes rather than having to unwrap paper towels. I hope this helps.

Sorry, just saw your reply now. I used 2 methods. 1: placed seeds on a slightly damp paper towel, folded, placed in plastic zip top bag and left that in a drawer where it is warm inside my home. I would check on it every few days to make sure no mold and change out the paper towel when it looked gross. 2: placed the seeds in a shallow container filled with water to cover the seeds, left near the kitchen window. I would change out the water when needed and that's it. All my seeds sprouted

How did you get them to sprout?

the music comes on so loud and your voice is so soft so I have to turn it up during your talk, so my ears get so startled during your intro and outro. otherwise great videos.
