vue - Growing fruits in containers
Quick video I made of a few of my container grown plants that are fruiting. Grumichama, Jujube, Guanabana ( aka Soursop) , Mango cv "Lancetilla" , Carambola (aka Star Fruit ) , and Miracle fruit. (aka Miracle Berry ). Many fruit trees will do fine in containers, so if you live up north, all you need to do is protect them from the cold, and you should be ok. Imagine growing your own Papaya, or mangoes,

Hello Agriperma!
Your plants look really happy, although they are in containers. What do you do when they need bigger containers? Or, do they really need to be transferred to bigger pots? I live in Clearwater, FL. And I try to grow tropical fruit trees in the sun room in my house. I keep them near the open windows. But I am worried about what to do when they need larger containers like 10, 15, 25,... gallons. Is there a really a clever way to keep them healthy and productive in their containers for years without going larger? I would greatly appreciate, if you could help me. Thank you. -

+agriperma I just started growing tropical veggies/fruits this year - mangoes, avocado, jack fruits, lychee, kangkong, moringa, etc. I live in WA state and it gets really cold where I live so my only option is to use containers so I can bring them during winter season or colder months. I'm just wondering how big is your containers? I am thinking of buying the 5 gallon containers. Do you think it's big enough or should I get the bigger ones? Any advice? Looking forward to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Hi...from where are you? Your trees are amazing!

Thank you for posting this video. This concept makes me want to try this, for both perhaps a few fruit, and also for scions, to graft onto other trees.
