Love the bucket drain idea, I am so doing that.

I recently updated my recipie 15 lbs oat 15 lbs milo 10 lbs white millet. And i now use the XL grow bags and they pack into the AA941 a lot tighter. I fit almost 60 lbs wet grain spawn in each run.

So you still soak the mixture of grains for 24hrs even though the milo only requires an 8-12 hr soak?

Excellent series, but I'm just curious if you can use white millet instead of milo? Its what I have around currently, and would it suffer significantly to just use the millet and not even bother with the Oats? Or are you purely using the milo for more inoculation points and you say, and the oats are the actual nutritional spawn?

You should know that this video automatically goes to part 3 instead of part 2 :-/

Good for you for starting this playlist. I've been wondering if you would

thanks for these videos, I know the least about spawn.

Nice vid series man. Never done a "no simmer" spawn prep before. I noticed you don't let the grain drain too much, so I figure there would still be lots of surface moisture left after filling bags/jars. Does this extra moisture get soaked up while PCing, bringing it to full hydration?
And how much are you finding sorghum for? I went to the local feed supply and it was 70 something bucks for 50 pounds😦
I'm just using whole recleaned oats right now but they seem to be getting more and more expensive. -
Nice! thanks! good tips! this is your typical spawn for inoculating with LC? or do you use g2g?
