I put a peeled avocado pit in water, 3weeks ago, and nothing has happened.
should I crack it open? -
for your pineapple, the bottom leaves should have been stirpped off of the bottom 6 layers and then put in the water. That's what i did with mine and it has lots of roots on it. Your avocados need to have the brown skin removed before you put the toothpicks in them to put in the water. I have 3 avocado seeds growing and all of them have stems. I tried tried it the way you're doing it and ended up with rotted seeds. the skin on the seed hardens and make it tough for the shoot and roots to grow.
I just thought i'd let you know how i succeeded and hope that if you try these tips that you would have the same success. -
I have had my pineapple outside where rain water has gotten and it rooted well. I didn't cut down the leaves.

Hi, Try a mango. they are so cool.

better plant in soil la.

The pineapple has roots under those little leaves on the bottom, remove some them and you will see the roots, they tuck themselves away. You will need to plant your pineapple in good soil and keep in a warm room for growth. It takes about 18 months before you actually get a pineapple. Great video! ☺ 💕 👍

Dont throw your pineabpple out, or maybe its too late, but you just have to take off about three rows of leaves. Thanks for the info on this video, I've been trying to grow a garden forever in my kitchen with soil, I keep trying but no success.

According to what I have seen and read so far on the internet you don't keep these plants in water indefinitely. At some point in time they do have to be put in soil. Growing in water is great for starting off the roots but then they must be put in soil. For some things some rooting powder could also be helpful. Also, the water has to be changed regularly and how often depends upon what is grown. Apparently, organic veg is best for regrowth, so try that, especially in regard to the pineapple top. These can all be grown in pots if there is no room in the garden. Try using Levington John Innes Number 3 as this has the most nutrients in it and see what happens.
By the way, I forgot to say about not putting these plants in too much water. -
do you think I can regrow cauliflower
