Been following several videos on this subject but dont seem to get anywhere near the same results, infact I get nothing. Excellent video though Jim but could you help me a bit.....how much AJ did you pour into the Old Rosie Demijon to begin with, I tried with approx 500ml and 1 teaspoon of Yeast Nutrient, shook it well to aeriate and put on the stir plate for 3 days then changed the AJ with a fresh 1 litre and left for another 3 days and nothing....not even a thin film of yeast.........help !!!

Great video, Jim
Really enjoying the start to finish ones
I need to get me some Old Rosie yeast grown. I bought one of the 2 litre jugs like you used but after I'd polished it off, all thoughts of cultivation went out of the window lol
Cheers

OMG... Why have I only just found this ! Found my way from motovlog channel...
I'm not even sure where to start... Your kit is amazing. My first attempt at Turbo was 6 years ago and failed miserably, so tart ! I never thought at cultivating the yeast from OR but I've bought bottles of the stuff. I tend to stick with kit brews for beer, lager. The cider kits are OK but never come out quite right... I may have more questions on this be warned :o)
Do you ferment inside your fridge !? -
I like the process of start to finish

Cheers..

As per normal - GREAT video. I'm getting ready to do my first Scrumpy cider for the holidays. I'm kegging so after transfer I will use a yeast stopper so I can back sweeten (Hi Sue) and adding the carbonation. If you're in Southern California on Dec 20th stop by for a taste!
