For their first full day, the group toured Berlin and visited the U.S. Embassy to meet with U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agriculture Service Counselor Kelly Stange. A delegation of 23 farmers and agricultural leaders are overseas from Aug. 31-Sept. 11 on an Agricultural Leadership Exchange to learn about north-central Europe's agricultural innovation and policies regarding trade, biotechnology, renewable energy, animal welfare, dairy production and pricing standards, and environmental issues.
