vue - House and Garden Shooting Powder - Will it work?
Well, I have chosen to go with the House and Garden Shooting Powder over th Advanced Nutrient Big Bud. People say powders don't work in hydro, lets see, this is pretty much the signature product from House and Garden, it's what they make their money on... apparently. So I have mixed it in, and added an extra 2ml of Ph down to get the Ph at 5.7. In a week I will be back, and we will see if it does what it says! Too much pH down isn't good for the plants. If you pH down the water previous to adding the strong nutes, it will rise to where you want it. H and G asks ya to add a and b then pH it, and then add additives, not worrying about the resultant pH.

Running hydro, deep water culture with the new deep water culture chart they released a few months ago. I've been using shooting powder since I started using the entire H&G line of products. Going on 3 years now at one location and I can say for sure not only does the powder work well, the entire line works awesome. You just have to follow the charts. As far as the powder goes because its a powder, I use a gallon jug with some of my newts that are premixed, I dump however many packets in gallon then shake very good, then dump gallon into my rez and mix. 1 pack does 25 gallons so i start with 2 pack due to my rez being 55gal. You start out at 1 pk per 25gal then work to 2pk's per 25gal to finish. Trust me guys if your banging trees out you will want to finish with the powder. Also, if your vegging for 4-6 weeks try a little experiment by vegging your clones for 2 weeks with light at 24/7 then go straight into bud. Your trees will be shorter but ALL NUGZ will be solid. The days of growing sparse shit are gone for me and with 10 week harvests, I get 4 crops a year! Happy growing!

Ive been using the Whole House in Garden line for the last few years. Ive been growing for over 15 years and I can tell you that House and Garden is the best I have tried and Ive tried all the popular nutrient companies out their. As for you mixing your reservoir, you should hit up your local hardware store and pick up yourself a paint mixer that you attach to your drill. It makes mixing my reservoirs so much easier and faster not to mention way more thorough!

if you really want to mix all your nutrients the right way just add a small pump in there and just turn it on you will see how you plants just start to look way way green and stronger

Thanks for adding this mate. I just picked up a packet today and thought I would check out what others might have to say about it here on the tube. I originally caught wind of this stuff where you mention using the product @ The Dank Den, which led to me looking it up a couple of weeks ago, so thanks for that. I'm growing out of Pro Mix, so, I am hoping I got this right -- '1st week @ 2.6. grams per gallon. Last 2 weeks @ 5 grams per gallon.. keeping in mind to cut back on my base nutes.

i use canna on the whole but there is one H n G product i always use,some say its expensive but i happen to think its worth it,thats roots excel.....best rooting juice ive used by far,great vids,happy growing !!!

Hi mate , i use h&g also and also have a 100ltr nft . When i mix in the shooting powder i get my 100ltrs ec at 1.2 ph 5.8 then i add all other additves bud xl enzymes and of course shooting powder . My ec then shoots to around 2.2 (i have the same wand as u)and my ph pops up a little so i bring it back down to 5.8 and away i go . I was just curious because i see u add lots of water after , was that plain tap water?? If so i'm sure that would lower the ec and bring up the ph . Peace
