Hi Sir. My bitter gourds in Singapore have leaves that turn yellow easily. It is due to lack of nutrients, too much water or some kinda plant diseases? TQ.

Thank you for such a helpful and instructional video! Bitter melon is also very popular in Okinawa, Japan, where it is called ゴーヤ (go-ya). I will try growing some in my garden soon! Thanks again.

It's also a glucose uptake food so it helps with diabetes type 2. I LOVE bitter melon. I stir fry it with salt, olive oil and a pinch of sugar. I also eat it almost raw in sandwiches. Talk about waking up your taste buds!! Thanks for the hint about pinching the seed, I'm going to plant several in Spring, 2014 for the first time! So nice you are educating your children. Thank your for taking the time to make this video and sharing it!
