Thanks for the tips I be growing my own next month
-
Thank you... very knowledgeable.

You seem to have mastered the art of gardening. I did not know that you could grow so many tropical plants in Virginia. Do you start from scratch after every winter? Which month of the year so you start gardening?

Thank you for this video. My eggplant is a bit too yellow and I saw you mentioned below that it could be from over or under watering. I think it was been over watered. Thank you so much! It is my first time growing my own garden!

Thanks for sharing, nice video and very informative. Simple technique on how to grow eggplant and the big result of having eggplants ready to be picked and cooked. That's the good thing of having a garden, hope you plant something more (like others), and give more technique of growing, I subscribe and waiting for your next. Ichiban type is thin skin and good taste as well, we cook it into omelette after grilling on charcoal.

Good information. Just what I was looking for in a how-to video. Good to see you incorporated your son in the video, my kids aren't interested, however they are young. Thanks for the valuable information. I'm planting eggplant seedlings in the morning.

My flowers keep falling off what cause that to happen

ichiban - Japanese long eggplants or for that matter all varieties.

Are you making sure that there is sufficient moist. As mentioned in the video, think about having a bigger sauce pan below the pot with water so that whenever the plant needs water it can take it from there. Sufficient moist is the key for flowering and fruiting.

You can always harvest the eggplant early. no harm. they taste good when they are young too.
-
As said in the video, manual pollination is needed only when there is very hot summer where the natural bees wont be doing their work.

sorry for the late response. The answer is yes.

This video was very informative. Great tips on when to harvest. I have my first fruit forming but am quite sure that it will end up sitting on the ground since the first flower is quite low. Is there any way to prevent it from doing this? I don't want it to rot or get a fungus from being directly exposed to the soil when I water the plant.

Thanks for this information.I will do this in my garden as soon as possible.
