vue - How to Grow Spring Onions from Seed

1. hello, i want to ask something. i watched a lot of video about regrowing store bought scallions and can't seem to find how to multiply them (they simply being cut only the green part and then left out the white part). We use the white part as seasoning, so basically we use all of them. Can you teach us how to multiply the amount of scallions from store bought scallions instead of just regrowing it for the green part? if we let it until it is flowering and producing seeds, i want to know if scallions have gender like scallion A is male and scallion B is female or 1 scallions is enough to breed themselves and producing seeds?
