Thanks so much for making the video. I have often wondered how to do that as here in the UK, slips are so expensive it's ridiculous! Harvesting mine today and hope to be able to keep some for growing slips for next year and saving money.

Can you plant in Fall or winter outdoors in California and if you can what do you plant the sprout of the sweet potatoes or something else? Thanks for your time.

I've put slips from my potato in water, and in direct sunlight. it grew from small leaves to blooms in 1 day!
how long should it be in water? I want to grow it indoors.

I planted my slips attached to the potato and they have taken off. But how do I know when to dig up my pototoes? I planted them in sandy loam. I did dig up a couple, but not sure if they should sit out in the sun before I eat them. Help? Could you email me your answer at jbanthony@caltel.com
