has anyone tried re -rooting cilantro...sort of reproduce? i cut some since it started flowering and wandered if I cud try to root those cuttings.

I planted some cilantro and it's all gone to seed in my garden now. If I collect it and hang it to dry, is it OK to plant some of those seeds right now (beginning of July), and if so, should I be breaking those open at all? Thanks to anyone out there.

Hang them in cheese cloth bag, seeds will stay in the bag.

Wait for the white flowers, when you see those within a few weeks they will start turning into tiny green balls...this is the seed. by the time the seed is ready, the leaves and flowers will be all brown but the stems may still be green. Hope this helps. :)

Do I have to wait for all the cilantro to turn brown to get this coriander seed????? I planted cilantro but I didn't know how to get seeds from it :( sorry I'm New at this
