jasmine is a pain it grows like wildfire and seeds all over the garden. Its not "odour" it's "scent".

How to bring Jasmine to blossom ? I prune it too much last winter and this year it was growing again , but did not blossom yet . We have 2 bigger Jasmine in pots .

That variety of Jasmine you have there is a bit too busy for me, hope it's scent makes up for its intrusive nature

If you have to do a severe cut-back like the 2nd method, is there a time of year when it's better vs. worse to do so? I have 4 or 5 plants that are close together like that at a fence (in So Cal) and want to cut them back but I am afraid of killing them with such an extreme pruning...

Great thank you for pruning that Jasmine back "other gardener," that Jasmine was really out of hand tendering up the branches and creeping around like a stealthy beast.
