I was surprised with how well the green leaves on the carrot grew again, once the carrot was placed into a jar of water. The carrot was bought at the supermarket and was in the fridge for at least a month. I found this carrot at the back of the fridge and it was starting to sprout, so I thought I would have a go at growing this carrot. I never thought it would be so successful.
