Can you do, or have you done, a video on how to keep your brassicas from crossing? Also, does broccoli go to seed after you pick the broccoli?
-
So they grow and make Broccoli and then they die?
-
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm wanting to know about part of the process that I can't find the answer to. Most of our blossoms are gone and have turned to pods. They're still pretty green pods. Do I keep watering? At what point can I cut them down and hang them to dry? I'm tired of watering them daily!

Thank you so much.

That was so awesome! This may seem like a novice question (and I am quite the novice!) but are brassica plants and cruciferous vegetables synonymous?
-
For example after I harvest my Brassica, would I just keep the remaining stem in the ground for it to produce seeds?
-
It's amazing how many seeds one plant can produce! But as far as growing broccoli, I haven't had very good luck; our Springs start out too cold and warm up to quickly, and the plants tend to bolt. I may try to grow it in the Fall next year.

Great info Luke! :)

That kind of blew up in your face. LOL Great video. Reminded me of the bible where it talks about separating the wheat from the chaff.
