Hello there..Just great to see this video.Do u water your cloves right after putting them in the ground? Some videos show to do that. You also haven,tWhat do you think? I will not water them as I would think it not beneficial given it,s fall and the water you pour over your clove is pretty chilly.

Excellent instructions. You gave me the courage to grow garlic again.

i'm getting ready to plant my garlic - much thanks for your basic, logical presentation and easy to follow video - look forward to a good harvest next July! i'm using some hard necked garlic purchased from a local home-grown supplier who raises it in our area.. i follow your site a lot - have made several of your vertical gardening trellises and have materials for 4 more - they worked so GREAT for heirloom tomatoes - 8 feet tall - unreal!

I have a few beginner questions. I bought my garlic bulbs online and the directions say to plant at least 2 weeks before the first frost of the season, which here in zone 7a is towards the end of October. I also have read that they should be planted AFTER the first frost. Well, I've separated the bulbs into cloves and am going to soak them in kelp overnight and plant in the morning. I hope it's not too early. It's getting into the 40's at night but warms up to high 70's and low 80's during the day. Also, I'm separating the bulbs into cloves and I bought some elephant garlic and man these cloves are HUGE which makes me wonder if maybe there are 2 cloves and I need to separate them further BUT it doesn't have a clear place to separate and just maybe they really are that big! What would happen if indeed I planted 2 cloves thinking it's just one gigantic clove? Same issue with my shallots. They are pretty big. Do you see any trouble with my plan of action? Thanks for any advice!!

Personally, I am not sure it is good to have the word "revolution". I am not sure it is good to have that in the title. One may get the visit from certain people.

Hai! Yes Master Sensei. Next year's garden is going to be so good!

I dunno if that spraying does much - might delay sprouting but not prevent it. Same with potatoes. I planted some cheapo bleached Chinese garlic and it grew fine and came out purple instead. The will to live and reproduce of nature is amazing.

I can't grow I look at you I can grow

Since garlic spouts at 40-50 degrees, does this mean you shouldn't store your garlic in the fridge when you get it home from the store?
