vue - Hydroelectric power plant working model
Working model of Hydro electric power plant for students in class 7 to 10 . I have used 2 Submersible pump( aquarium pump)in this model. One for circulating the water in the dam and the second one (head 2.5m) is to pump the water to the turbine. These two pumps are kept in a box inside the mountain. To avoid overheating of the pump I have provided enough space around the pump. Then multipurpose form spray is spayed over the box to make the mountain. Later I use the tip of a knife to roughen the surface of the mountain. Computer cooling fan is used as generator cum turbine. The blades of the fan is removed and replaced with plastic spoon. Plastic spoon is fixed with super glue and for additional bonding i have used silicon For more photos and detail of this model please contact me on salinrajk@gmail.com . I will send it by email
