vue - Hydroponic Seed Starting & Simple PVC Grow Light Stand
It's time to get the hydroponic setups cranked up again. The first step in the process is starting seeds for the things that I want to grow. To make things easy, I start everything in rockwool cubes. In this video, I'll show exactly how I do it. It's a very simple process, one that anybody could do. As the seedlings begin to germinate, it is very important that you get them under some type of grow light. Since I started these inside, I had to build a new grow light stand. The PVC stand that I built is very inexpensive and worked out well. https://www.facebook.com/mhp.gardener

Dear Lord Jesus, we ask that You bring comfort and healing. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Father who is full of mercy, the God of all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us." In Jesus name we ask

Well done, and thank you for the brilliant advice.

Hey Bobby after the plants start to grow from the rockwool does the dome need to be removed and place the tray under a light system?

What size are the small pvc on the bottom of the light stand? Also, how long do you keep light on seeds as they are growing and how many weeks before the cube can go into hydroponic system?

Have you use dish wash foam instead of rookwool is it good?. I´m from Colombia and Rookwool is very expensive due to shipping all that stuff so we need alternatives. Thanks!

Lord willing and the creek don't rise. I haven't heard that in 20 years. Your idea for the grow light setup is terrific. I never thought 1" PVC pipe would be strong enough, but it sure looks sturdy.
I'm really commenting, though, to tell you that you have the best accent in America. I have NO idea where you're from, since the only sort-of southern accent I know is New Orleans, where much of my family lives, and that accent is just weird. You don't sound like a Texan, either. Actually, you sound like the character Boyd Crowder on "Justified." That took place in Harlan County. Are you from or near the great Commonwealth of Kentucky? But the actor grew up in Georgia, so maybe he was just speaking his own natural way.
Don't laugh at me. I was born and raised in the rust belt and moved to Cali as an adult. Never gotten to the south other than N.O. -
I keep a chop stick for making my holes

I've started lettuce seeds twice this season and each time they come up leggy (about 2 inch stem with 2 small leaves on top. That am I doing wrong? Do you have any suggestions. I start them in peat cubes.
