vue - Improving Nitrogen Application Using a Precision Hawk Unmanned Aerial System
In conjunction with Greenseeker technology on the ground, this Precision Hawk UAS records different types of imagery to determine what parts of the field require nitrogen and which parts do not. This reduces the use of fertilizers, protecting the environment and saving farmers money. Have you tried a spectrometer to measure the exact color of the plants ? For example something like Toshiba's TCD1304AP linear ccd array.

looks great. i've designed a plane especially for use with an autopilot for applications similar to this, and search and rescue. very interested in integrating the airframe with a similar system.
