We're limiting the size of this farming village, so we'll stop growing this thing before it gets too big. The diagonals aren't efficient, anyway, and we'll probably run into problems if we try to make it any denser.

you forgot about trash. the city wil be abandoned eventually. It would be better to get a huge region to build a village in, you will get more upgrades then. Also it would be interesting to experiment on what makes farm buildings bigger. Thanks for the video.
