Can the shiitake mushrooms grow here in the Philippines? I am interested in shiitake rather than oysters and milky mushrooms which are common here.

i am thinking about starting a lot of logs for myself and i tried this once before with plugs and had a bad experience. i am wondering what mixture you use exactly to inoculate the logs.

Nice video but no plant makes vitamin D. It takes a liver and cholesterol to do that. Therefore Vitamin D is only present in animals and humans. Without cholesterol not even we humans can make vitamin D. That is why people on cholesterol lowering drugs are most often depleted of Vitamin D and thus are good candidates for Alzheimer and diabetes.
