6. Just saw an even easier method, at least for oysters.  Throw spent oysters in a blender with molasses and water then distribute into your growing medium in a cardboard box.  You can then water the box and all.  I'm gonna try this method on  my humanure compost bin.
7. you don't need burlap; not much nutrition and they don't care what direction they grow on.

10. interesting..I want to know more about this method. But tell me.. you touched first the contaminated straw than touched to "panned" one and at the end you went back with your hands into the new straw you were just about to pasteurize. didn't you just contaminate everything or isn't it that sensitive?
