At the time of field preparation, ploughing is done 3 to 4 times and during last round of ploughing, compost is mixed with soil @ 2 tonnes for 20 decimal of land. Two types of fertilizer has been applied i.e. 60 kgs of SSP and 10 kgs of Potash for 20 decimal land. Furrows have been made with a spacing of 1.5 ft and fertilisers have been applied in the furrows.
