It takes a little while to grow so you can actually see the mushrooms coming out. I waited 21 days for the mushrooms to 'brew' in a closed box and then another 12 days after opening the box. Then just over one night they started shooting out like crazy, little pink things coming out of the black bag with growing material. I tried capturing their growth in a Time Lapse with my good old Nikon D200 but I failed miserably for the first 3 days of growth. As I learned, the LED light I used was a bit too strong when directed right at the little mushrooms as well as the radiator in my home studio dried the air way too much and some of the mushrooms died. I noticed the ones that were shaded from the direct light and a bit more moist did not die but kept growing slowly. So I had to re-position the camera few times, made sure the bag with mushrooms wouldn't slide even an inch whilst moist and also keep spraying the area with water every few hours so they wouldn't dry out. I also pointed the light away from the mushrooms and bounced it off the wall just so to give enough light to take pictures by. This time it worked and you are looking at the result of just 18 hours of recording, first that was successful. I will keep the camera rolling for another 10 days or so and will post the final video with music when I'm done processing all those pictures and videos. Might take a few days as each 24 hours produce a thousand images to process and then render video. Thanks for watching. Subscribe to my channel to see my new videos.
