vue - New Hoss Seeder - Planting sweet corn and peas - May 2015
After weeks of rain we finally got a break and had a chance to use the new Hoss Tools seeder in the garden. Conditions were far from ideal with damp, chunky soil but even so the new planter came through for us. Can’t wait to use it in a well prepared seed bed. I have been looking for such simple planting technology for Africa. How can I access this, and how much would it cost? I work with some small-scale farmers who would take up this technology. Can I have your e-mail address? Joseph from Uganda

Is the dirt on the cornfield, is that natural from the ground or did you buy special dirt for farming?

I have been watching your videos for a good while now, and i finally decided to get on the forum and request an account. I did that a couple days ago so I was wondering about how long should i wait for admin approval? Carly is very pretty by the way O.O

is there away to cover the holes for the corn not to drop? I would try possible duct tape.

She did a great job!
-
love her shiny hair. she works like a pro.

Would that planter work in winter killed oats as a no-till planter? Will those coulters push surface trash out of the way?
-
Really cool but I wish it wasn't 300 bucks. :(

Love that you get your Grandchildren out there working with you. Awesome that you pass on your knowledge to them, and a little hard work is good for their character. ;-) Where do you get your seed?

How's your corn and peas doing?
-
I want one!
Donald does it do well with small seeds like say Radish? -
I wonder if the previous model seeder attachment wheel would do a better job pushing in loose dirt from the sides to cover the seed, being that it's wider and comes in contact with more dirt. might better move and flatten those round dried up pebble crumbs you get when rain turns the top of the soil all crusty. coulters look like a nice improvement... loving my wheel hoe and planter this spring in MN...not loving 37F tonite at the END of may ... thanks for the great videos webcajun

Your Granddaughter is growing up fast... It's good to see young people helping in the garden... I have the old Hoss seeder... How good did the corn and peas come up?

Mr Donald , thank you sir for posting another good video.
I enjoy all your videos and learn a lot from them.
Miss Carlee did a good job with that planter.
God bless y'all. -
Donald,
Quick question... Where do you purchase seeds from? -
Hello Donald,
I have an issue that I need to ask someone about & I think you're about the best guy to ask. Would you mind helping out an old Carpetbagger in Virginia? -
Wow, Carlee is really growing up! Good to see her again!

Is that your daughter helping you out at 2:10? I have two little helpers of my own. :)
