"no, it is poison. They are in the nightshade family." ~ Barefeet Gardener
.... That's what my Grandfather always used to say about tomatoes. And I'm still alive after over 30 (thirty) years, and, typing this Comment. Some people say Rock Dust is bad, too? BUT What is in Well Water? And Well Water grows THE BEST PLANTS. So you are full of sh%t. Sorry. :-) .... "Proof is in the pudding" as they say. And I don't mean B. Cosby's "personal" pudding. -
$20. a week? That's kind of high for a community garden plot, even being a co-op venture. Some community gardens I know of only charge $50. per year.

Hi John you should come and shot a video at my communitygarden. I have two plots at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn,NewYork.

Great video John and you're right about the growing the smaller variety than the bigger variety of eggplants. Learned the hard way but in the end, we ate it all.

Great video John! I noticed white cabbage butterflies buzzing around a few times. But I didn't see a lot of damage on their collards and kale, which leads me to believe that they are using insecticides.
-
Thank you John. I grew kale, collar, swiss chard, and basil this fall. The first time in my life because of your grow your greens show.

hey John, So i'm starting my first large-scale veggie garden soon, and i would like to start from seed. However, i'm a bit scared of starting them outdoors, so i have decided to start indoors and transplant later in the season. So, I just wanted to know your thoughts on what the best way to start the seeds indoors, or if you even think this is a good idea :D thanks for your help :D

There's a difference between being told to garden and volunteering to garden. Only those people who participate receive the harvest. Plus it is a great way to focuses on one plant and meet others that like minded gardeners too.
