Roundtable on Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture: Video message by Olivier de Schutter, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food To successfully feed the growing world population, agriculture must be more sparing in its use of natural resources. This radical change of course in global agriculture and food policy is the key demand posed in the Declaration "Nourishing our people -- nurturing our planet" by high-ranking representatives of government, international organizations, and the scientific community at a roundtable organized on 15 and 16 March 2012 in New York. The event took place upon the invitation of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Swiss Biovision Foundation and the Millennium Institute, with the support of the Mercator Schweiz Foundation and other organizations. hahahaha....if you change the word "sustainability" in this guy's speech with the word "arian purity" or "marxist loyalty" and he'll sounds pretty much like all the dictators in human history...

This guy wants my government force me to be "sustainable" and "organic", just because he does not like fertilizers. Who is going to support my family? He?

In every interview I've seen from Mr. de Schutter, I can see that he reads everything...!!! He's talking about things that are so complicated for him (and for us) that he needs to read. I wonder who's behind him. Collectivists, maybe? New Age Slavers?

This man is a diplomat, not a food expert. He is giving advice on things he does not know. What a shame. He is a human right's "expert" but I wonder if he knows how his advices collide with article 1, 12 and 17 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the UN. He is arrogant and should be more humble talking about other's people farming and food ingestion. I wonder if he has ever pay taxes in his life....
